Seeking applicants for the 
Fire + Water  Artists' Book Festival  2026

The Fire + Water Artists’ Book Festival be Sat, November 14 from 2 - 6pm! This will be located inside the House of RAD at: 

324 N 12th St, Milwaukee

This free event is open for all to check out local book artists and printmakers who will have their work on display and for sale.

A Fire + Water ceremony will be led by Jesus Avila. This book festival honors the fire and the water used to make paper, ink, prints and books.

Hosted by Studio Tlacuilo. Sponsored by AP3 and the House of RAD.

Studio Access

Artists trained in printmaking practices are able to use our equipment for a monthly fee or during Open Studio night. We offer relief, intaglio, screenprint, and lithography. 

Workshops

Interested in learning how to use our facilities independently, or maybe you you'd like to learn a new skill? Join us for a group workshop! These range from beginner to advanced. 

Events

We host many events throughout the year that are open to the public, most of which are free! Past events have included Steamroller MKE which is a live steamroller printmaking event, our Valentine's Day make-and-take, and the Fire + Water Artists' Book Festival.
